Restorative Justice

Principles of our approach in restorative justice work.

"Restorative Justice is a philosophy that looks at crime and conflict as a breakdown between people and relationships" - North Shore Restorative Justice Society.

  • Working towards the restoration of victims; empowering them and responding to their needs as they see them while supporting offenders and encouraging them to understand, accept and carry out their obligations.
  • Provide opportunities for dialogue, direct or indirect, between victims and offenders as appropriate.
  • Encourage collaboration and reintegration rather than coercion and isolation.
  • Give attention to the unintended consequences of our actions and programs.
  • Show respect to all parties, including victims, offenders and justice colleagues.

Scholarship Program

At the core of what I believe in - it is empowering groups and individuals to make sound decisions when in conflict and develop compassion through curiosity to build understanding across differences.

What I have been able to do is offer a scholarship program that allows qualified individuals to engage with me one on one through a series of communication exercises and in-depth workshops. This program will equip you with advanced communication skills and a broad perspective on conflict psychology. We will take a deep dive into the sticking points in your life and create a plan to integrate your new findings into thoughtful action to re-align your relationships and values.

Interested? Please reach out to discuss the current availability of this program.
